What Is the New Feature?

The Timestamped Checklist Tracking feature lets you see timestamps for checklist items in our app. This means you can easily track when changes were made and who made them. This added information helps keep everything organized and transparent, making it easier to stay on top of updates.

Why Is This Change Important?

  • Better Monitoring: You can clearly see when checklist items were updated or completed.

  • More Accountability: Know who made changes and when helping to create transparency.

  • Easier Audits: Helps with internal reviews by providing clear records of all changes.

How It Works

This feature acts as your digital assistant for tracking tasks. Here’s how it works:

  1. Automatic Timestamps: Whenever you complete or update a checklist task, the system adds the date, time, and name of the person who made the change. For example, if you update a room inspection checklist to mark "Bed Sheets Changed" as completed, you’ll see the exact time and name of the person who made the update.

  2. Activity Logs: Flexkeeping keeps a record of every update, including:

    • The type of update (like "Completed" or "Drafted").

    • The exact date and time of the change.

    • The name of the user who made the update.

  3. Visible on the Checklist: This information is shown next to each task on the checklist so you can quickly see recent changes.

Possible Use Cases

  1. Audits:

    • A compliance officer checks the timestamped log to confirm that important tasks were completed on time.

  2. Tracking Team Progress:

    • A manager reviews when tasks were finished to see how the team is doing.

  3. Accountability:

    • A supervisor checks the "Updated by" field to see who made changes to the checklist.

  4. Reports:

    • HR creates monthly reports on completed tasks to share with executives.

The Timestamped Checklist tracking feature is designed to make managing tasks easier and more transparent. Stay informed about who did what and when, and enjoy smootheer task tracking with this neew addition.
