With this integration:

- Reviews are matched with past guest stays
- Relevant issues are automatically turned into tasks in Flexkeeping

How It Works
Step-by-Step Flow
Guest leaves a review
After their stay, a guest writes a review on a booking platform.
MARA processes the review
- Matches the review to a reservation
- Identifies if action is needed
- Creates a service ticket if necessary
Task is sent to Flexkeeping
- The system automatically creates an assignment
- The task includes room details, issue type, and description
Your team takes action
- Housekeeping or maintenance staff receive the task
- They complete it like any other assignment in Flexkeeping
What Gets Created in Flexkeeping
The integration creates two types of assignments:
1. Maintenance (Repairs)
Used for technical or facility-related issues.
Examples:
- Air conditioning not working
- Broken TV
- Window not opening
2. Housekeeping Tasks
Used for cleanliness or room condition issues.
Examples:
- Room not clean
- Issues with bedding
- General housekeeping complaints
What Is Not Supported

Only post-stay reviews are included in this integration.
Which Reviews Are Included?
Not all reviews create tasks. The system only processes:
- Reviews linked to a recent stay
- Typically within the last 14 days (may be adjusted)
Why this matters: This ensures your team focuses on relevant, recent issues—not outdated feedback.
Where to Find the Tasks
All tasks created from MARA will appear directly in Flexkeeping, just like any other assignment.
They will include:
- Property and room information
- Task type (maintenance or housekeeping)
- Description based on the guest review
Your team can view, assign, and complete them just like any other Flexkeeping task.
Assignment Setup (Important)
To make the integration work, your property must have:
- At least one assignment code for maintenance
- At least one assignment code for housekeeping
These are used to categorize tasks correctly.
Example:
- “Repair” → for maintenance issues
- “Housekeeping Task” → for cleaning-related issues
How Tasks Are Categorized
MARA automatically separates issues into:
Maintenance → Repair assignments
Housekeeping → Task assignments
This ensures the right team receives the right work.
Room Mapping
Tasks are assigned to the correct room using:
- Room number (from your PMS)
- Internal room ID (when available)
This ensures accurate task placement and no confusion for staff.
