Cleaning Credits Editor: Simple Guide

The Cleaning Credits Editor helps you easily manage cleaning credits for rooms (spaces) and tasks (assignment codes) — all from one place. This guide explains how it works and how to use it.

What’s New?

Before, room credits and assignment codes were managed separately. Now they’re in one combined editor with easy-to-use tables, filters, and bulk actions.

Navigating the Editor

There are two main tabs:

  • Spaces: Set credits for rooms based on status (e.g. stayover), cleaning types (e.g. deep clean), or attributes (e.g. linen change).

  • Assignment Codes: Set credits for cleaning-related tasks, issues, or feedback (e.g. repairs, cleaning flaws, positive feedback).

You can switch between tabs anytime.

Table Layout

Each tab shows a table with the following details:

Spaces Tab

  • Space Name: Room name.

  • Credits Type: Whether it’s based on room status, cleaning type, or attribute.

  • Credits Subtype:

    • Status: Empty, Stayover, Departure

    • Cleaning Type: e.g. Standard, Deep Clean

    • Attributes: e.g. Linen change

  • Amount of Credits: Credit value assigned.

Assignment Codes Tab

  • Assignment Code: Name of the task or feedback type.

  • Credits Type: Always shows "Assignment Code".

  • Credits Subtype:

    • Task, Repair, Cleaning Flaw, Negative Feedback, Positive Feedback, Cost of Quality

  • Amount of Credits: Credit value assigned.

➕ How to Add or Edit Credits

Click Create Credits (top right). It takes just 3 steps:

  1. Choose rooms or assignment codes.

  2. Select the type and subtype (e.g. "Stayover", "Repair", etc.).

  3. Set the amount of credits.

✅ You can apply the same amount for all, or customize each item separately.

⚡ Bulk Actions Made Easy

You can manage multiple items at once:

  • Bulk Entry:

    • Select multiple rooms or codes using filters like room type, sector, or facility.

    • Choose one subtype and one credit amount for all selected.

    • Set up multiple credit combinations that will be applied to all selected spaces at once. Each space will receive all the combinations you configure below.

  • Bulk Selection & Editing:

    • Use filters to select multiple items.

    • Use quick actions (Edit/Delete) to update or remove them.

    • Editing opens a pop-up to adjust credit values directly.

? Filters & Sorting

Use filters to narrow your list and sort columns as needed. This helps you find and update records faster.

✅ Best Practices

  • Always double-check your bulk edits before saving.

Remember: each row is a separate record and changes apply individually.
