Urgent tasks are sound notifications sent to staff to check something immediately. Usually such tasks are sent by the front desk in two situations:
The guest is checking out and the mini bar has not been checked
The guest is checking in and the room is not inspected yet.
To create an urgent room check, follow these steps:
Navigate to the HK management menu and select "Rooms."
On the right side of the screen, you will find an option called "Urgent tasks." Click on the room button.
Select the room number that needs to be checked and press "Save."
A task will be generated below, initially marked as "unseen" until it is acknowledged by the assigned housekeeper or housekeeping supervisor for that room.
Both the housekeeper and the HK supervisor will receive an instant sound alert, which will continue until they view the task.
Once the task is completed, it will be updated on the room page as well.
By following these steps, you can create an urgent room check and ensure that the assigned housekeeper or housekeeping supervisor promptly acknowledges and completes the task.
